Godzilla (Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla Poster Coloring Ver.) joins the Movie Graphic Plus series, which pairs highly detailed figures with artwork inspired by classic movie posters.
Based on the 1993 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, this S.H.MonsterArts release recreates Godzilla as he appeared in the film's promotional poster artwork. Renowned Godzilla sculptor Yuji Sakai was involved in the prototype, sculpting, and coloring to capture the distinctive look of the original illustration.
The figure features a special color scheme designed to evoke the poster artwork, with detailed brush-style paint applications across the body. Additional coloring inside the mouth helps recreate the glowing effect seen in the illustration.
With a wide range of articulation, Godzilla can be posed in a variety of dynamic positions, including poses inspired by the original poster artwork and classic threatening stances.
The set also includes a Movie Graphic PET plate featuring the Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla poster visual, allowing the figure to be displayed alongside the artwork that inspired its unique appearance.
